Online Community-Futsal/ Sports Activities is a response to the current Covid-19 pandemic effects on the residents of the mainly disadvantaged diverse ethnic communities.
The majority of these residents have young children and people who also participate in indoor Futsal and outdoor football activities that are affiliated to the WRFCA and the English Futsal League, where our 16+ age group is actively engaged in the second division.
Most community members and parents have agreed to the idea of the generation of an online community, a platform that seeks to highlight newsworthy activities that are futsal/ sports activities related-
Coverage of weekly events in training, futsal/ Sunday league fixtures, and sports globally.
Committing young people to healthy lifestyles by sharing their activities online for community interaction.
Inclusivity of different religious backgrounds.
Futsal indoor league promotions, advertising, and marketing using online community media.
Leadership roles, active participation, responsibility and management of various teams affiliated to the league that will be involved in the weekly fixtures starting in September 2020 (depending on the guidelines by the government)
Encourage young people, 14+ age groups, to learn basic media skills through an online community.
Officiating roles as referees, administrators, coaches, coordinators, etc. that give self- esteem to young people as they socialise with different people.
Keeping young people engaged in a positive way that is focused on their sports-related activities, where their active participation is highlighted in roles that they are assigned.
Reducing stress related to idleness and boredom.
Cultivating new friendships of like-minded community groups.
